Up to 50 tasks and appointments for any given day may be posted on the screen. Up to 500 tasks and/or appointments may be kept on file.
Click a poster to reveal the task details, say call Peter, who is currently overseas:
The options include:
When running, the reminder is displayed as a panel on top right of the screen, waiting for next tasks to sound off. As soon as it displays a task, the reminder stops. If there are two tasks due at the same time, the one created earlier is displayed first. Once you [Delete] or [Close] the first task, the reminder resumes and displays the next task.
You may temporarily stop the module so you can choose a reminder tone or tune:
Tasks and appointments are created using the weekly planner. [Time zones] shows standard time differences among major cities.
Click a cell (date and time intersection) ...
... to show tasks from that date onwards, and create one-off or recurring tasks.
Appointment times are available in 15-minute increments only. Multiple booking is allowed.
The weekly planner, poster and reminder modules are initiated from the main menu. Poster and reminder modules are mutually exclusive. Both will continue to run after the GenRe session is ended. If there is no session, the reminder module automatically starts one in order to get database records or generate reports associated with tasks. The [task] icon, below, opens the weekly planner. To its right are [poster] and [reminder] icons. For details, click [Help] and read about subjects Weekly Planner, Posters and Reminders. When using the monitoring module as a standalone system, you don't need to learn or use command buttons [Systems] through to [Maintenance]. The [Help] icon is the online user guide and operating instructions.
