PROGRAMMABLE Purchase ORDER FORM

In its simplest form, this is a template for processing and recording purchase orders. 

The key is computer-generated. After details are entered, [Compute] is clicked to automatically get the extensions and purchase order amount.

The next purchase order number (10002) is assigned when the PO field is clicked. 

Dates are in mmddyy format or selected from a pop-up window and then re-displayed as mmm-dd-yyyy for clarity.

On completion, [Compute] and [Print] a hard copy without the icons and command buttons.

You may also save a copy to disk by using [Create].

To find out the computation instructions, click the hammer and activate the designer. The designer panel is superimposed on the purchase order form.

At this point, you can modify the form itself - add more columns and resize objects.

To view the instructions, click [Compute] into the panel and then [Command Editor].

This is where you enter calculations. The 15 lines are shown below.

The data entry program that created the purchase order screen is suited for designing smaller forms however the spreadsheet program allows for more fields and easier calculations as in the case of Inventory Report 

The programmable forms may be consolidated into a complete inventory system.
