Programmable Spreadsheets GenRe spreadsheets are ideal for summarizing data, financial reporting and analysis. Each spreadsheet consists of 145 cells that are configurable into any combination of rows and columns. Cell dimensions, locations on the screen, fonts, formats, colors are modifiable. Every cell is programmable - including ability to update columns and rows of other spreadsheets. The first screen shows the spreadsheet as it is created into a sales analysis program. Data is extracted from other files and posted into predetermined cells, then the green rows and columns are added and the pink ones subtracted. The second to the last row is the balance, the last row is the percent equivalent.
The same spreadsheet program is created into a comparative income statement. The amounts are either entered or extracted from other source files and the net income is computed:
