This menu consists of programs and utilities that keep the software in good working order.
Aside from back up and restore functions, there are other ways of backing up programs and files. [Delete Files] deletes old folders and files, to free up disk space on drive C. Utilities submenu:
Before using Microsoft programs (Excel, Word and Wordpad) from within GenRe, these programs must be linked to GenRe. [Verify Database] checks the integrity of the database. Most problems are not critical and automatically fixed. In case of persistent problems, [Create a Diagnostic File for Technical Support] and send it as email attachment. [Package/Unpack System] packages a system (programs, files and reports) into an email attachment that you send to GenRe technical support, to have the system fixed or modified. You receive the modified system as email attachment too which you then unpack into your system. [Run a Program] opens special-purpose programs, such as resetting the report ID or adding a new screen to templates.
